Aidan Truhen is the evil twin of the infinitely more benign Nick Harkaway. He lives on an imaginary houseboat amid the wreckage of 21st Century hypercapitalism and writes morally disapproving novels about crime to get revenge on a world with no sense of its own monstrosity. Aidan is only barely divisible from his anti-hero, Jack Price, who is the central character in both The Price You Pay and Seven Demons.
