Andrew Porter was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Vassar College, and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Currently, Porter lives in San Antonio, Texas, where he is Professor of English at Trinity University and Director of the Creative Writing Program.
