Andrew Seaton

Andrew Seaton is a historian of modern Britain. He writes about political history, social history, and the history of medicine and the environment.

He trained both in the U.K. and the U.S., holding a Ph.D in History from New York University (NYU), an MA in the History of Science, Technology and Medicine from King’s College London, and a BA in History from the University of Oxford.

Currently, he is the Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at University College London (UCL). Previously, he was the Plumer Junior Research Fellow in History at St Anne’s College, University of Oxford.

He just published his first book, Our NHS: A History of Britain’s Best-Loved Institution with Yale University Press.
