I first discovered painting as a hobby doing florals and landscapes but developed a passion for portraits. My oil portrait of singer/songwriter Willie Nelson won third place at the 2014 Texas State Fair. I recently completed portrait certification with Valerie Stewart Portraits in Sacramento, CA.
I work full time as an accountant for a commercial real estate company in Dallas. I paint whenever I can and go to workshops several times a year. My husband Bill and I live in Buffalo, Texas. All portraits here are 16 x 20 oil on canvas except Rocketman which is 18 x 24.
