Brian Holden Reid is a British military historian, educator, and writer. He is Professor of American History and Military Institutions at King’s College London. Brian Holden Reid is the author of such books as America’s Civil War: The Operational Battlefield, 1861-1863 and The Origins of the American Civil War.
