Chana Stiefel

Chana Stiefel is the author of more than 30 books for children. Her next picture books are THE TOWER OF LIFE: How Yaffa Eliach Rebuilt Her Town in Stories and Photographs (illus. Susan Gal, Scholastic, 10.4.22) & MENDEL’S HANUKKAH MESS UP (illus. Daphna Awadish, Kalaniot, 9.6.22). Chana’s recent nonfiction titles include LET LIBERTY RISE! How America’s Schoolchildren Helped Save the Statue of Liberty, illustrated by Chuck Groenink (Scholastic, 2021). Other picture books include DADDY DEPOT (Feiwel & Friends, 2017) & MY NAME IS WAKAWAKLOCH (HMH, August, 2019). ANIMAL ZOMBIES!
