Chris Bohjalian

Chris Bohjalian is an American author. He was born in White Plains New York on August 12, 1962. Currently, he lives in Lincoln, Vermont. He was born to an Armenian father and a Swedish mother. He studied at Amherst College .In the college, he participated in Phi Beta Kappa Society as a member. He worked for J. Walter Thompson as an account representative in the mid-1980s.He married Victoria Schaeffer Brewer on October 13, 1984.

He moved to Bohjalian with his wife where he bought a house and began writing for local magazines and newspapers .He also contributes to many publication columns such as New York times, the Boston Globe Sunday Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Reader’s Digest and the Burlington Free Press.

Bohjalian has authored 15 novels. Most of them are New York Times bestsellers such as Secrets of Eden, Midwives, Before You Know Kindness, Law of Similars, The Night Strangers, Skeletons at the Feast and Double Bind. He was also the winner of the New England Book Award in 2002.
