Cinead McTernan has worked in horticulture for nearly 15 years, most recently for the BBC’s coverage of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and prior to that, for BBC1’s Garden Rescue and BBC2’s Gardeners’ World.
She has written for various national newspapers and magazines, including The Telegraph, Gardeners’ World, The English Garden, The National Trust, Homes & Antiques, Waitrose Garden, Landmark Trust, The English Home, and The Simple Things.
She edits titles too, which have included RHS Kew’s What’s On magazine, Notcutts’ membership magazine, The Edible Garden, The Simple Things’ garden section and, for the last three years, Historic Royal Palaces’ membership magazine, Inside Story.
Her fourth book was published by Bloomsbury in 2021. She has written three other books: Grow Your Own Botanicals, published by Kyle, Kitchen Garden Experts and One Pot Gourmet Gardener, both published by Frances Lincoln.
