Ed Gillett

Ed Gillett is a journalist, film-maker, and communications professional based in South London. He has written for The GuardianFriezeDJ MagThe Quietus, and Novara Media. His work spans a wide range of topics, from rave culture to sustainability. Gillett’s highly-acclaimed documentary work and writing have been published by the BBC, Channel 4, and other notable media outlets. One of his notable works is the documentary Everybody in the Place: An Incomplete History of Britain 1984-1992, which explores the rave scene and its impact on British culture. His recent book, Party Lines, delves into the politics of dancing, treating dance as resistance, ritual, and an unruly energy.
