Eleanor Doughty was born in 1992 in Wiltshire, England. She began her journalism career as an intern at The Times and later worked at the Daily Telegraph, where she has contributed significantly to various sections, including the “Great Estates” column since 2017. In 2019, she transitioned to freelance writing, allowing her to focus on her interests in the British aristocracy and country houses.
