Emily Henry

Emily Henry is a connoisseur of donuts, proofreader, and full-time author. While at Hope College, she studied creative writing and went to the New York Center for Art and Media studies. Emily Henry spends a lot of time in Cincinnati, Ohio, and in the state of Kentucky (in the part of the state that is just south of Cincinnati).

She finds that she must write a novel in order, and not bounce around. Nor does she outline. If she knows too much about where a book is going, she does not really have much interest in writing the entire novel; she must see where it goes while writing, sort of like when reading a novel. “The Love that Split the World” is Henry’s debut novel that came out in the year 2016.
