James Comey is a mystery fiction author even though he is best known for his work with the FBI and the Department of Justice.
The author was born in the New York suburb of Yonkers to J. Brien Comey and Joan Marie Comey in 1960. He is the descendant of William J. Comey who was in a New York Police Department officer before he rose through the ranks.
His father was in corporate real estate while his mother was a homemaker and computer consultant and hence, he had a typical middle-class childhood.
