John Stansifer was born and raised in Lawrence, Kansas. Attended Kansas University majoring in English, History and Film Studies while serving 6 years in the Kansas Army National Guard as a mortar gunner. He wrote screenplays specializing in true story biopics and found his calling in writing about Chaplain Emil Kapaun in both book and screenplay. No Bullet Got Me Yet is the product of over 10 years of research, writing and relentless faith.
