Judith Mackrell has been one of Britain’s leading dance critics since 1986, writing first for the Independent and currently for The Guardian. She broadcasts regularly on television and radio, and has written several books on dance, including Reading Dance published in 1997 by Michael Joseph. Judith Mackrell’s group biography Flappers: Six Women of a Dangerous Generation was published by FSG in May 2013.
