Liz Stauffer is the author of “Thursday Morning Breakfast (and Murder) Club,” a murder mystery. The book, a traditional American village mystery on the cusp of a c, introduces a younger, feistier, modern-day Miss Marple and her team of pastry-laden detectives, and is available as an e-book and a paperback.

The “Thursday Morning Breakfast (and Murder) Club” mystery is an outgrowth of Liz’s career as a writer both in an out of the corporate world. Having discovered a knack for inventing stories at a young age, Liz adapted her talent to a business environment after a divorce forced her to support her two young sons.

Liz earned a bachelor’s in Business from University of Maryland, College Park, and a master’s in Political Science from Webster University in Missouri, and spent the next twenty-something years writing all sorts of things from political encyclopedias and travel articles, to marketing literature and software manuals for Fortune 100 computer companies.

Currently Liz is working on another Thursday Morning Breakfast Club mystery. When not traveling or staying in Maryland, she lives with her two dogs, Mattie and Jake, in Hollywood, Fla., where she owns a vacation rental business.
