Max Podemski is an urban planner, author, and illustrator with a lifelong interest in how buildings shape the urban environment. He is the author of, “A Paradise of Small Houses: The Evolution, Devolution, and Potential Rebirth of Urban Housing” published by Beacon Press. He holds a master’s in urban planning from Columbia University and bachelor’s in urban and environmental policy from Occidental College. He lives between a duplex and a fourplex in Los Angeles, CA.
