Peter Wensierski (born 1954 in Heiligenhaus, Düsseldorf-Mettmann district) is a German author, journalist and documentary filmmaker. He has been working for the news magazine Der Spiegel since 1993.
He also became known for his books (including Beaten in the Name of the Lord) related documentaries on television and as a winner of the Federal Film Award for Berliner Blau and a “European Television Award” in 1993 for a film about Berlin-Marzahn.
