Robert Bevan is an award-winning journalist, author, and heritage consultant, and has been architecture critic for the Evening Standard and the Australian Financial Review and is the former Editor of Building Design. He is the author of the acclaimed The Destruction of Memory. He is a member of ICOMOS, the heritage body that advises UNESCO, and the Blue Shield, which addresses heritage in crisis.
