Sally-Anne Lomas lives in Norfolk with a very naughty cocker-poo puppy called Lola and a beautiful cat called Molly.
Live Like Your Head’s On Fire, is her debut YA novel published in February 2021 by Story Machines Books. She has been a runner up in the Bridport short story completion, won the Richmond short story completion and written for The Guardian, The New Statesman, and Broadcast Magazine.
She works as a television producer director making documentaries for BBC, ITV, C4 and Animal Planet. She wrote produced and directed The Search for the Lost Manuscript: Julian of Norwich a 60 min Documentary for BBC 4. Winner of the Royal Television Society East Best Factual Programme Award 2017. Her latest Series was South Africa with Gregg Wallace for ITV 1 broadcast in January and February 2021. She has also worked in schools making films with young people.
