W.H. Flint, author of the debut historical novel Hot Time, is the pen name of Gerard Helferich, who has written popular histories about the attempted assassination of Theodore Roosevelt, the relationship between Roosevelt and J.P. Morgan, and other critically acclaimed works of history.
